Aristotle’s Virtue Ethics

Aristotle taught that moral excellence arises from cultivating habits (virtues) that strike the mean between excess and deficiency—courage between rashness and cowardice, for example. Eudaimonia (flourishing) is achieved by living in accordance with reason.
